Cyber.bet app bookmaker information 2023

You might say that times are really a-changing: every now and then we chance upon a bookmaker that has not started out as a brick-and-mortar betting shop, but as an esports website.

Our avid readers might recall that we’ve already reviewed one such company – GG.Bet – and now we’ve gotten our hands on a similar project. Cyber.bet is a plucky bookie that started offering betting on esports in 2018 and then introduced the sportsbook and casino games a year later.

Customers will not be able to tell the difference, though, as Cyber.bet really looks and feels like a traditional betting site. It’s just when you scratch under the surface a little and realize how extensive their esports, ehm, sportsbook is, that their roots are visible.

Cyber.bet Kenya has already travelled a long way, but there are still some things they need to rectify if they are to enter the “Major Leagues”. You might have seen some reviews online that don’t really have many nice things to say about this bookie, but in our humble opinion, they’re not bad at all and in the future, they can get even better.

That is why in this article we will tell you about pros and cons of betting with Cyber.bet from Kenya, especially when it comes to their Android app. This is definitely not the last time we will reiterate, but Cyber.bet iOS app is still not available, which is a gigantic flaw in their quest to become one of the best betting apps in Kenya.

In addition to that, we will check out their casino and live games, tell you how to register, find out about the Cyber.bet welcome bonus and the payment options available to Kenyan players.

This is the information we’ve gathered on Cyber bet.

Features of Cyber.bet mobile app in Kenya

It is obvious from the get-go that Cyber.bet still has some way to go before becoming one of the leading betting apps in Kenya. In this part of the article we will list the main features, and seeing as this is an honest review, we won’t be wearing any gloves.

But to make matters clear, we do recommend downloading and installing Cyber.bet app, we’d just love for it to be even better.

  • Once again, it is really disappointing to see when a betting company neglects the entire universe of people with iPhones. We realize that iOS apps might be a bit harder to develop and to be published on the AppStore, but it’s an effort worth making. Let’s hope that the good people in Cyber.bet reckon the same.
  • From the offset, it’s also clear that Cyber.bet for Android is still in its infancy. The current version has only been launched a couple of months ago, and there are many things not functioning correctly. For example, we’ve had to restart the app several times when we were trying to register.
  • One of those features that are just crying out for the makeover is the design of the app. It’s fair to say that it wasn’t our cup of tea – it is too bland, too basic, and we were certainly expecting more.
  • The same can be said about the number of markets. While there is an imposing offer of sporting events, we weren’t able to find the most interesting potential wagers that we’ve gotten used to in some other apps that we’ve covered, like betObet app.
  • Things do get better when we start discussing esports. From League of Legends to CounterStrike, right up to NBA 2K, players can bet on many popular computer and console games.
  • That being said, the app will install nicely on any device, though it helps if you are using a newer version of Android (8.0 or later). We still found some smaller bugs and we’ve had the matches and events just disappear before we were able to make a wager.
  • We haven’t come across those problems using the mobile version of Cyber.bet Kenya website.
  • We did manage to sign up via the app in the end, but it was an arduous process. This is the first time we recommend registering on the mobile website and then just using the Cyber.bet login.
  • Another thing to worry about is the lack of a nice bonuses. For example, there is just a single welcome bonus, and there are no other promotions available to players immediately.
  • In addition to that, players are required to use the Cyber.bet promo code to unlock the new bonuses. In one example, we’ve had to add a promo code “VERIFY” after verifying our account just to get another bonus.
  • One of the features that we did like is the ability to make a deposit with M-Pesa. We will explain this simple task in this review, but it’s important to know that it works really nice.
  • There are also no live streams inside the app, which is a real shame.
  • One more blow to the Cyber.bet app is the lack of options for customer support. Users can only send a message using the “Support” section, even though on the desktop or mobile version, there are phone numbers and email addresses.

Cyber.bet app pros and cons

Does the bad outweigh the good? Not just quite, as Cyberbet will have a lot of interesting features for Kenyan players. Still, we’d like to some improvements before we could put this app on the pedestal. At the moment, it is still lagging behind some of the earlier apps we’ve covered, not least the Helabet Kenya app.

 + Pros – Cons
Simple design, though it might not be to everyone’s liking No iOS app available for Cyber.bet
Kenyan players are accepted Android app can sometimes stop responding completely, and we did have a problem to sign up initially
M-Pesa and other popular payment methods in Kenya are more than welcome No live streams for sports games
Fans of esports will have a field day If you’re looking for great customer support, look elsewhere
Huge number of providers in Cyber.bet casino Forget to enter the code and you might lose the right to the bonus
Use promo codes for Cyber.bet to unlock various juicy bonuses A really poor offer of bonuses for new players

How to download Cyber.bet apk Android for free

When the screen popped-up in our mobile browser, we thought that we were being prompted to install Cyber.bet app. But it was for registration instead, so we had to dig some in order to grab the APK for Android.

  1. Visit the official website Cyber.bet from any mobile browser in Kenya.
  2. Scroll down to the link labelled “Bet on the go with Android app”.
  3. Tap it and the installation of Cyberbet.apk will start.
  4. Allow installation of applications from unknown sources in the settings of your device.
  5. Tap back or find the Cyber bet apk in the Android notifications menu.
  6. Tap “Install” again and the installation is finished.

Cyber.bet is one of the smallest apps that we’ve encountered so far. Players can also download the BetObet betting app for Android.

App size 72 MB (installed)
Android version 5.1 and newer
Latest version build 1.0.1.7-release

Cyber.bet app for iOS

Alas, Cybet bet is not available for iOS. Let’s hope that it will be taken care of soon enough.

How to register and login to Cyber.bet via app from Kenya

We did have some trouble during the registration process via Cyber.bet app. For the first couple of tries, we were getting the message “Internal error”.

If this persists, feel free to contact the customer support. You may also register on the mobile website and bypass this little problem.

  1. Open the Cyber Bet app and tap “Sign up” at the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Choose your currency first, as you will not be able to change it later. Then add your phone number and email address and your password.
  3. If you already own a Cyber Bet promo code, tap “Promocode” and add it. Otherwise, agree to the rules and privacy policy and tap “Sign up”.
  4. You will be automatically logged in, but you will not be able to make a deposit until you pass the basic verification.
  5. So go to your profile, tap “Accound Data” and add your name, country and address. Confirm your phone in order to get a code, and do the same with email.
  6. You should be able to make a deposit now.

Verify your account

In order to withdraw your winnings, you must verify your Cyber.bet account. Unfortunately, you cannot do this via the app. You will have to visit the mobile, or better yet a desktop website of Cyber.bet.

  1. Enter your Profile and Account data and scroll down to the “Identity verification” tab.
  2. Make sure you have filled your profile details previously.
  3. Tap “Submit documents” and send your passport or the latest bill.

How to bet in Cyber.bet app for real money

By now you the cat is out of the bag – the sportsbook of Cyber.bet is not the best we’ve seen, but they are making huge strides almost on a daily basis.

So, let’s see what are the features of Cyber.bet sportsbook in Kenya.

  • When you first start the app, you will see the most popular events shown. They are labelled with the little fire icon and next to the main bets, you’ll be able to see the number of available markets.
  • While decent, they’re not exactly opulent. For example, we’ve established that a semi-final match of FIFA World Cup had only 170 markets. Yes, it should be enough for the average bettor, but it’s far removed from the number of potential bets we’ve seen at bookies like 888Starz for example (you can check out their review on our website).
  • You may add the matches, and even leagues, to your favourites, but we’ve had some bugs and crashes whilst doing so, so for the time being we recommend staying away from it.
  • There is no “Live betting” section per se. You need to choose a sport from the menu and then tap “Live” to see the matches that are currently going on.
  • And while we are at sports, there are many to pick from, even though it would be really helpful if players could see whether some of them have upcoming events or not. This way you will tap around in order to find a bet.
  • There are no specials, like politics, Eurovision, other music or even movies. That’s another blank shot in our opinion.
  • Things do get better if you are into esports, even though it was a surprise that there was only a handful of them. But it will still be enough for those enjoying the Counter-Strike matches or LoL tournaments.
  • Still, we haven’t been able to find live streams for esports either. That is almost inexcusable, is it not?
  • Tap the Casino tab and you’ll get to Cyber.Bet slots and live card games. This part of the app does look enjoyable, and there are also games like Aviator and Spaceman that you can try.
  • bet Casino has its own promo code for welcome bonus, but more on that later.

How to make a single bet

Back to the football matches and we’ll learn how to make our first wager in this app. Let’s do it together.

  1. Even if you’re a picky bettor, you’ll probably find a good bet in this app. We did mention the FIFA World Cup and our first bet on Cyber.bet just had to be a semi-final match.
  2. Tap the match and you will see the time before the kick-off and markets. As previously stated, you will need to scroll down if you want something other than 1×2 games or total number of goals.
  3. That’s what we did and we’ve found a “Total Bookings” market – it was odds of 1.87 for over 4.5. Nice, eh?
  4. Once you tap the bet, it will go blue and the number 1 will show above the Bet slip icon in the bottom of the screen. Tap the icon and here you can enter the stake.
  5. Minimum stake is 80 KES, while maximum is 100000 KES per single match. You can enter your own amount, or choose one of the three options – 1000 KES, 5000 KES, 10000 KES or “All in”.
  6. Tap “Place bet”.

How to bet with combos

There were no system bets, though players can make an accumulator or a parlay easily.

Unfortunately, BetBuilder is absent, too.

  1. Once you add the single match to your bet slip, find another you wish to wager on.
  2. You will see the number above the bet slip change to show the total matches on it.
  3. Open the “Bet slip” and you’ll see the list of all the bets, along with the total coefficient, or total odds.
  4. We were really disappointed that the app does not calculate the total winnings. You will be able to see the odds and add the stake, but it’s only after you’ve made a bet that all the information will be there. If you’re not into maths, this might annoy you.
  5. Just like with single bets, you can wager any sum from 80 KES to 100000 KES, and also go “All in”, wherein your entire account will be wagered.
  6. Tap “Place bet” and you’re done.

Pros and cons of Cyber.bet sportsbook for real money

Players will have some fun in this app, but those looking for real challenges are probably going to stay away from it for now. We’ve also found some issues that made the whole ordeal a little bit annoying to be honest.

+ Pros – Cons
Simple design is ideal for newbies Small number of markets, even for the most popular sports and events
Start with a smaller stake of 80 KES and build your way up to the top Absolutely no live streams present
It’s pretty good for eSports, though still not as good as some of its competitors No system bets or BetBuilder
No special markets
Some design issues

Cyber.bet casino app cashback and bonuses

While the Cyber.bet sports betting did not exactly blow us off our feet, Cyber.bet casino was nothing short of amazing.

This part of the app does rely heavily on the mobile website, but it still provides some great moments, especially when you consider the number of game providers and potential slots. There were promotions and jackpots, along with the 10% cashback and the Cyber.bet casino bonus that you can use to start this adventure with.

The Casino search field did work nicely, though we would like to see some more categories on the main page. For now, there is just “The best”, with some crowd favourites like Sweet Bonanza, Gold Party, Fruit Shop or John Hunter.

One of the trump cards was the Aviator game, which has taken the whole world by storm and now Kenyan players can really have fun with this exciting game in Cyber.bet app.

Cyber.bet app welcome bonus for Kenyan players 2023

For a betting company that is still finding its feet, perhaps the welcome package should have been better. But Kenyan players do have at least a couple of reasons to register and top up their account for the first time.

Name Maximum bonus amount Description Conditions for converting bonus into real money (wagering requirements) and details on bonus redeeming
100% deposit bonus (Sports and Casino) 25 000 KES Register via app or on website and use the bonus code DEPOSIT100 within 48 hours 30x wagering requirement in single or accumulator bets with odds of at least 1.85. The rollover must be done within 7 days, and maximum winning amount is 250000 KES
Special bonus 75% to all customers 30 000 KES Register via app or on website and deposit at least 300 KES using the code DEPOSIT75 to get 50% of the deposited sum 20x wagering requirement within 7 days. Odds should be at least 1.80
Weekly cashback for casino games 12 000 KES Wager real money from balance in Cyber.Bet casino after you enter the promo code WEEKLYCASH in app to receive 10% of your losing bets 10x wagering within 3 days, with the maximum cashback amount of 12000 KES

Sports Welcome bonus with promo code

A kind reminder that you need to verify your account before you can make your first deposit and thus grab the welcome bonus.

And while we realize that using promo codes can be a lot of fun, especially if you can earn them from various corners of the internet, perhaps the first welcome bonus could have done without it.

What makes things significantly better is the 75% bonus on second or third deposit, which will be another reason for Kenyan customers to register and check out the Cyber.bet app. Players can also activate the welcome bonus on the Helabet betting app for Kenya.

Cashback in Cyber.bet app

Registered users would be wise to open the app or visit the website at least once a week, if not on a daily basis. There are bonuses every now and then and while we were writing this review, the Weekly cashback bonus for Cyber.bet casino was available.

Fair wagering in Cyber.bet app

While the total sum for welcome bonus is really, shall we say, provocative, some of the less experienced players will think – perhaps rightfully so – that the wagering requirements of this bookie are just too harsh.

Sure, the odds of 1.85 don’t look to frightening, but there is a somewhat short time frame during which you must finish the roll-over. Seven days isn’t that much, after all.

How to make a deposit in Cyber.bet app from Kenya

We were waiting for Cyber.bet Android app to come good, and it duly delivered when it really mattered – in payment.

Kenyan players can use M-Pesa and all the information is available to them before they replenish their account. That means that you will know exactly the minimum and maximum sums, as well as the transaction time. And while we’re on that subject, you will be pleased to know that it will not take more than 15 minutes, and usually much less, for the money to show up on your balance.

Here is how to do that.

  1. Your balance will always be visible in the top right corner of the screen. And right next to it will be the green “plus” sign that will take you to the list of available payment methods.
  2. As you can see, there are many options for you. We were surprised not to see Visa cards, but certainly many players will use M-Pesa anyway.
  3. Tap the preffered method, enter the deposit sum, and the promo code (“WEEKLYCASH” is there by default, so pay attention).
  4. You will see the three ready-made options for the payment sum – “Try only”, “Standard package” and “Snatch”. You are welcome to use it, but you can also enter your own stake.
  5. Tap “Pay” and the money will be there soon.

The payment methods will not have a commission for Kenyan players.

Mode Minimum deposit amount Maximum deposit amount
M-Pesa Kenya 300 KES 50 000 KES
M-Pesa by AstroPay 500 KES 50 000 KES
AstroPay 300 KES 50 000 KES
Neosurf 500 KES 50 000 KES
ecoPayz 500 KES 50 000 KES
Mastercard 500 KES 50 000 KES
Skrill 500 KES 50 000 KES
Neteller 300 KES 50 000 KES
Bitcoin 5 000 KES 50 000 KES
Ethereum 5000 KES 50 000 KES
WebMoney 500 KES 50 000 KES

Deposit via M-Pesa in Cyber.bet

We are sure that every Kenyan knows the value of M-Pesa. That is why the citizens of our country (but also of the neighbouring Tanzania, where it will also work) will be pleased to know that depositing with M-Pesa on Cyber.bet is really easy.

  1. When you go to the Deposit section and select M-Pesa, make sure you enter your valid +254 phone number.
  2. Tap “Pay” and you’ll be taken to the M-Pesa page.
  3. This is where you will review your transaction. If you’re satisfied, confirm it.
  4. Follow any further instructions on your phone to complete the payment.

And if you’re wondering, yes, of course M-Pesa can also operate as a method for money withdrawal.

Cryptocurrency bonus

As a company that is well versed in contemporary trends, it was fairly expected of Cyber.bet to accept major cryptocurrencies. They do, indeed, and players will be able to collect their winnings to their cryptowallets, too, which is always a nice thing to have.

For now, at least, there are no specialized bonuses or promo codes connected to crypto payments in Cyber.bet.

How to withdraw money using Cyber.bet app

Don’t forget to confirm your identity and to send proof of your documents on Cyber.bet website. You can refresh your memory on just how to do that in the first part of this article.

Until you do so, you will not be able even to see the available withdrawal methods, let alone use them. But once you do, you’ll probably opt for MPesa Kenya anyway.

Mode Minimum amount to withdraw
M-Pesa Kenya 500 KES
Mastercard 500 KES
Skrill 500 KES
Neteller 500 KES
Cryptocurrencies 500 KES

Cyber.bet Kenya customer support in app

The live chat option, either with live operators or the bots, is probably the mainstay of best betting apps for Android in Kenya. But there is no live chat incorporated in Cyber.bet, nor you can make a phone call.

We did find the international phone number that you can check out in the beginning of this article, but the only thing you can do via the app is open a “ticket” in your profile options.

This goes for the app only, mind you, as you will be able to get in touch with customer service in a whole number of ways if you’re visiting Cyber.bet from your computer.

Type of customer support Contact
Ticket Send a ticket with your issue via the app
Email [email protected]
Is Cyber.bet real or fake?

This relatively new company has had its ups and downs already, but we trust that they are firmly on the path of recovery. Indeed, they are fully licensed and are getting more and more customers from Kenya and other African countries every day.

Will I be able to register for Cyber.bet via the app?

Yes, but the Android APK for Cyber.bet does have some issues, so we do recommend you try to sign up from the mobile or desktop website and use Cyber.bet login in the app. This is rather unfortunate, as betting apps are usually making things easier, not more complicated.

Are there any differences between Cyber.bet mobile site and Cyber.bet mobile app?

Yes, and unfortunately for the Android app, they are in favour of the mobile website, at least for now. But we must not be too harsh – the app is still in its infancy, and things are about to get better. After spending several days in this app, we are totally sure about that.

Can I play slots, casino games and Aviator in Cyber.bet casino app?

Yes. It is indeed a great experience, with the Casino section being head and shoulders above the sports betting part of the app. We’re not exactly sure why is that, but casino fans will not mind – and there are plenty of great game providers with a bunch of amazing games. Yes, that includes the ubiquitous Aviator.

How to update the Cyber.bet app after installing?

Like we already mentioned, Cyber.bet APK for Android is making its very first baby steps, so new versions and builds with quality-of-live improvements are to be expected. Feel free to check out our website every now and then for news about the best Kenyan apps for real money.

How to download Cyber.bet APK for Android?

You can grab it easily from the official mobile website www.cyber.bet. We’ve heard some horror stories about this app not being genuine, but the only possible explanation is that those unfortunate users downloaded something from an unofficial link. Do not ever do that, please.

Is there a Cyber.bet app for iOS?

No. We will give them a pass for now because they are trying to do everything right with the Android version, but we cannot wait for Cyber.bet for iPhone. Let’s just hope that it will be available on Kenyan AppStore, too.

Is Cyber.bet app free for Android?

Yes, of course. But don’t forget to confirm your email address and phone number, as well as your name and home address. Without this necessary step, you will not be able to top up your account for the first time and thus might lose the right to a welcome bonus.

How to use M-Pesa Kenya with Cyber.bet?

It is easy as pie, really! MPesa Kenya is actually at the very top of recommended payment methods in Cyber.bet. We have written an entire section on how to replenish your account (and collect your winnings!) using M-Pesa, so scroll back a little and take a look. There is also the option of using MPesa via AstroPay.

Is there a Cyber.bet welcome bonus?

Yes, but just one – and it can be used for sports betting or casino interchangeably. But while the amount you can receive is rather rich, some newly registered users will definitely be put off by a little bit of a severe wagering requirement for this bonus. Well, you can’t have them both now, can you?

How to use Cyber.bet promo code?

This bookie is all about the promo codes, and not only that you should use them, it is that you MUST use them if you want to have all the bonuses, including the cashback. In our table about Cyber.bet bonuses, we’ve mentioned the three main promo codes, but there are more showing up every day, so be on the lookout.

Does Cybet.bet accept cryptocurrencies?

Yes, and the list is expanding almost on a weekly basis. You can use crypto for depositing, as well as for collecting your winnings, though there are currently no promo codes in respect to Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Is Cyber.bet customer support for Kenya good?

It could be better. If you visit the mobile or desktop website, you’ll be able to send an email or even contact the operators on the international phone number. But there is no phone for Kenya, and there is a distinct lack of options in the APK itself. That ought to change soon, and we’re sure they are working on it.
